Why Hindus offer food to god

In Hinduism, offering food to the gods is the most important ritual without which the worship is considered as incomplete and futile. All Hindus are often humiliated with a question that in a country like India, where more than 30% of the population is malnourished, shouldn’t we offer food to the malnourished beggars than to offer the same to the ever-pervading omnipresent god. Though the question is quite justifiable, some people, especially atheists, go to the extent of condemning all the ancient Vedic rituals and often criticize the ones who follow such rituals like offering food to god. The problem is that all such atheists, who think only rubbish, are in the mode of ignorance and hence, are not able to understand the spiritual values of this illusionary world.

Hinduism-the oldest religion on earth, with more than a billion adherents, is the third largest religion in the world, with majority of the population still living within the Indian subcontinent. In Hinduism, Avatar is dominantly associated with Lord Vishnu (the Preserver in Hindu trinity) though there are avatar of other deities like Shiva, Shakti etc. An avatar is a manifestation or incarnation of a fragment of God on Earth. This means avatar is not the actual god but a part of supreme god. Common perception is that only lord Vishnu is born in avatar forms like Rama, Krishna, Buddha, parshurama, matsya etc. However, scriptures suggest that according to the need of the society, any deity can take an avatar (like Lord shiva took avatar of Hanuman). An Avatar is born in a home of a pure, karmic but ordinary father and mother. Avatar arrives in a human body which is mortal like others but the avatar himself is aware of his divinity and his mission on earth.

Foreach is the common functionality in all programming language. Foreach is used for traversing items in a collection. Unlike for loop constructs which maintains a counter to loop defined number of times, foreach will essentially loop through all the items in the collection. Hence strictly speaking, there is no such foreach loop in SQL. Cursor does offer similar kind of functionality but using cursor is not the recommended approach. Today, as I am gaining spiritual knowledge every day, I understand each dialogue of this movie. Matrix, in its entirety, has concepts of many religions but most of its concepts are derived from Hinduism. Matrix series (Matrix, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions) conceives Neo as the chosen one to fight against the machines developed by AI (Artificial Intelligence). These machines want to kill all the humans on this planet for their energy needs. Matrix is a computer program created by the architect wherein all the inhabitants live without knowing that their life is an illusion contrived by the mind. This illusion is called as Maya in Hindu Philosophy. Matrix means “Maya” or the illusionary world. When Lawrence Fishburne(Morpheus) says "The Matrix there everywhere and anywhere", he meant to say God and his illusions are present everywhere but it’s our mind that decides what to choose, “God” or “Illusion”.

In schooling, geometry starts with Pythagoras theorem. So, obviously all the literates out there must have learnt about Pythagoras theorem. Almost everyone in this world irrespective of whether they are scientists, engineers, doctors etc has applied Pythagoras theorem in different walks of their life. Though you know the implication and uses of Pythagoras theorem, you may not know that Pythagoras theorem is not his original theorem and is copied from Indian scriptures. The reason I am saying this is because he never proved his theorem. One of the reasons why he was not able to prove his theorem was because of the faulty number system (without 0) that existed in the west in those times. Procedure of carrying the remainder of one column over to the next, dividing fractions, use of equations and letters were unknown to western world in those times. Hence, it was impossible for Pythagoras to prove his theorem.

In your school days, you must have studied that light travels at a speed of 3 x 10^8 metres/sec. We were taught that speed of light (299 792 458metres/s) was discovered in 1965 by ROMAR and later proved by many experiments, including the experiment conducted by American Physicists Michelson and Morley in the early 19th Century. Though different physicists tried to measure the speed of light through different experiments, the first successful attempt to measure the speed of light was performed by Max Planck. This is what we are taught in schools but what we are not taught is that measuring the speed of light was a very old phenomenon and the most perfect and exact estimate of the speed of light was given by Vedic scholars thousands of years ago.
