Significance of Annapurna Puja:- Annapurna Puja is an enormous festival that has been celebrated in Bengal for a long time. Annapurna is the goddess of nourishment. The name actually came from the Sanskrit which has a special meaning. “Anna” means grain and “Purna” means complete, full. According to Hindu mythology Devi Annapurna is worshipped as the deity of nourishment. She is acknowledged as the giver of food. She is another avatar of Goddess Parvati. People worship her every year to bring happiness and fulfilment in their life with her blessings.
